Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled API Developer to join our team in creating robust system integration solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Java, .NET, SQL Server, REST APIs, and ETL/ELT tools to develop, test, and deploy seamless integrations across platforms. This role is critical to ensuring our systems communicate effectively and meet business needs through innovative and scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and program integration solutions using Java, .NET, and SQL Server.
- Design and implement data transformations, schemas, and analytics processes for integration.
- Create and maintain RESTful APIs to connect various systems and enable seamless communication.
- Utilize ETL/ELT tools for data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
- Understand and document business requirements, translating them into technical system specifications.
- Troubleshoot and support help desk staff to resolve system integration issues.
- Participate in meetings to define project scopes, timelines, and deliverables.
- Research and adopt new techniques, tools, and technologies to enhance integration solutions.
Desired experience:
- Proven experience in developing system integration solutions using Java, .NET, SQL Server, and ETL/ELT tools.
- Proficiency with data formats such as JSON and XML, and protocols like HTTP and FTP.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Postman (or similar) for API testing and development.
- Strong knowledge of REST API principles and implementation.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Kubernetes and Docker.
- Experience working with databases such as SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
- Solid understanding of design and development processes for integration systems.
- Ability to analyze data and implement effective transformations and schemas.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
- Preferred skills:
- Proficiency in Python and Talend Studio.
- Experience with cloud-native architectures and microservices.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
